It’s important for your clients to feel at home and relaxed from the moment they enter your room, so you should definitely put in the effort required to make your lashing room welcoming. Your Room Layout

The first thing to think about is the big picture — where are you putting your furniture and tools? You probably want to start with the larger items, like your lash bed and chair. It’s up to you, but keep in mind what makes the most sense for your clients. 

Remember that you want to keep your clients comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire service! Think about what you would like if you were the client. Maybe cozy blankets, refreshments, or a fan? Ensuring the comfort of your clients is a great way to keep them coming back for more.

One thing to think about is your layout in terms of room environment. Make sure your lash bed and station aren’t too close to a heater, A/C or humidifier. Temperature and humidity directly impact your adhesive cure time, so you want to make sure you aren’t too close to anything that can impact your lash glue.

Of course, color itself isn’t going to attract or repel clients, but it can play a role in the success of your business. The main factor is presenting yourself in a professional, but still attractive way that clients respond to. 

Lighting And Sound

You’re not going to be able to work well if you can’t see! Lighting is everything in your lash room, so be sure to take a second and evaluate if your lights work for you.

How else are you going to be able to take amazing, clear, detailed photos that show off the beautiful lash set you just did? What do the clients hear when they step into your room? Silence can be a bit awkward and can make your clients feel uncomfortable. If you want to play some music, create a playlist that represents you and your brand well while still remaining professional. You can also just use some calming white noise if you want to encourage your clients to take a nap while you work on them!

Be Smart With Storage

Lash artists use tons of different tools, accessories, and products on a daily basis. Eyepads, tweezers, and lash trays can easily start to pile up, leaving your room messy and cluttered. So you need to think strategically about how to best store all of your items! 

Bins, rolling carts, and shelves will become your new best friends when it comes to storage. You can match these to the aesthetic of your room so clients don’t even notice them!
